Shure MX415LP/S Microflex 15-Inch Supercardioid Gooseneck Microphone is a professional installed-sound microphone designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, podiums, lecterns, council chambers and commercial AV systems.
The MX415LP/S features a 15-inch / 38.1 cm gooseneck and a supercardioid condenser capsule, providing a tighter pickup pattern than a standard cardioid microphone. This helps focus on the intended speaker while reducing unwanted sound from the sides, making it ideal for professional conferencing, podium and speech applications.
A bi-color red/green status indicator is located at the bottom of the gooseneck for clear microphone status indication. The MX415LP/S can be used with compatible Shure desktop, wireless or surface-mount bases, including the MX400SMP surface-mount preamp. The preamplifier is not included with this configuration.
The microphone provides a 50 Hz to 17 kHz frequency response, approximately 170-ohm output impedance, and maximum SPL of approximately 120 dB. Shure CommShield RF filtering helps reduce interference from mobile phones and nearby wireless equipment.
