Shure MX395B/BI Microflex Figure-8 Low Profile Boundary Conference Microphone is a professional installed-sound condenser microphone designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, meeting tables, interview spaces and commercial AV systems.

The MX395B/BI features a bidirectional / Figure-8 pickup pattern, capturing sound primarily from two opposite directions while reducing pickup from the sides. This makes it especially useful for conference-table installations where two participants are seated across from one another, as well as interview-style and face-to-face meeting applications.

Its extremely compact low-profile design allows the microphone to be permanently installed into a table, desk or lectern while remaining visually discreet. Shure specifies the visible microphone body at approximately 1.25 inches / 32 mm in diameter, making it well suited for professional boardrooms and architectural AV installations.

This standard MX395B/BI version features a black finish, 3-pin XLR connection, and no LED status indicator. Shure specifies a 50 Hz to 17 kHz frequency response, approximately 170-ohm actual output impedance, bidirectional sensitivity of approximately 14 mV/Pa, and maximum SPL around 123 dB.
