Shure MX415R/N Microflex 15-Inch Modular Gooseneck Microphone is a professional installed-sound microphone body designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, podiums, lecterns and commercial AV systems.

The MX415R/N features a flexible 15-inch / 38.1 cm gooseneck with a red LED light ring located near the top of the microphone, providing clear visual status indication in professional conferencing and presentation environments. The longer 15-inch design provides additional positioning flexibility for podiums, conference tables and lecterns.

This /N version does not include a microphone capsule. A compatible Shure Microflex cartridge must be installed separately, allowing the user to choose the pickup pattern required for the application. Shure lists compatible interchangeable cartridges such as the R183 omnidirectional, R184 supercardioid and R185 cardioid cartridges for the MX415 family.

The MX415 series incorporates Shure CommShield RF filtering technology to help reduce interference from mobile phones and other wireless devices. Its modular design allows integration with Shure surface-mount and desktop preamp/base options for permanent or flexible professional AV installations.
