Shure MX395B/BI-LED Microflex Figure-8 Low Profile Boundary Microphone is a professional installed-sound microphone designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, meeting tables and commercial AV systems requiring discreet appearance, focused two-direction speech pickup and remote status indication.

The MX395B/BI-LED features a bidirectional / Figure-8 polar pattern, capturing sound from two opposite sides while rejecting more sound from the sides of the microphone. This makes it especially useful for conference-table installations where participants are seated across from one another.

This version features a logic-controlled bi-color LED status ring and 5-pin XLR connection, allowing compatible DSP systems, mixers and room-control equipment to remotely control microphone status indication. The black low-profile housing is designed for permanent tabletop installation where minimal visual presence is important.

The MX395B/BI-LED provides a 50 Hz to 17 kHz frequency response and incorporates Shure CommShield technology to help reduce RF interference from mobile phones and other wireless devices. Shure specifies the visible microphone body at approximately 1.25 inches in diameter, making it suitable for clean professional AV installations.
