Zebra DS457-SR20009 Fixed Mount 1D/2D Barcode and QR Code Imager is a compact professional scanner designed for embedded and hands-free barcode scanning applications including self-service kiosks, POS systems, ticketing stations, manufacturing workstations and other space-constrained installations.

The DS457-SR20009 uses standard-range imaging optics and supports both 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR Code, PDF417, Data Matrix, Aztec and other commonly used symbologies. Its small fixed-mount form factor allows the scanner to be integrated into counters, terminals, kiosks and custom equipment where a conventional handheld scanner would be impractical.

The scanner supports USB and RS-232 connectivity with the appropriate cable and is designed for high-volume hands-free scanning. It can also read barcodes displayed on mobile phones and computer screens, which is useful for digital tickets, mobile coupons and electronic identification applications.
