Mean Well SDR-240-48 48V 5A 240W DIN Rail Industrial Power Supply is a high-performance AC/DC power supply designed for industrial automation, control cabinets, networking equipment, PoE systems, telecom installations and other professional 48V DC applications.

The SDR-240-48 provides a rated 48V DC output at 5A with 240W continuous power and supports up to 150% peak load capability, delivering up to 7.5A / 360W for short-duration startup and surge loads. This makes it suitable for industrial equipment that may require additional current during startup.

It features a wide 88–264VAC input range and incorporates active PFC for improved power factor and efficiency. Mean Well specifies efficiency up to approximately 94%, helping reduce heat generation and energy loss in industrial control enclosures.

The adjustable DC output allows the voltage to be trimmed approximately from 48V to 55V, providing additional flexibility for equipment, network and industrial applications requiring slightly elevated 48V bus voltage.

Built-in protection functions include short circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature protection. The SDR-240-48 also includes a DC OK relay contact, allowing system controllers, PLCs and monitoring equipment to detect power-supply status.

Designed for standard TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN rail mounting, the SDR-240-48 is well suited for industrial control panels, automation cabinets, security systems, telecom racks, industrial networking equipment and PoE infrastructure. It is UL 508 approved for industrial control equipment and uses fanless free-air convection cooling.
