Shure MX395W/C Microflex White Cardioid Low Profile Boundary Microphone is a professional installed-sound condenser microphone designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, meeting tables, government facilities, classrooms and commercial AV systems.

The MX395W/C features a cardioid pickup pattern, helping focus speech pickup toward the intended speaker while reducing unwanted sound from behind the microphone. This makes it especially suitable for individual seating positions, conference tables, lecterns and other speech-focused installations.

Its ultra-low-profile design allows the microphone to be permanently installed through a table or flat surface while remaining visually discreet. Shure specifies the MX395 at approximately 1.25 inches in diameter, making it ideal for architectural AV installations where minimal microphone visibility is important.

This MX395W/C configuration features a white finish, 3-pin XLR connection, and no LED status indicator. The cardioid version provides a 50 Hz–17 kHz frequency response, approximately 18 mV/Pa sensitivity, and maximum SPL around 121 dB.

The white finish makes the MX395W/C particularly suitable for light-colored conference tables, podiums and architectural interiors where a black microphone would stand out visually.
