Shure MX393/S-X Microflex Supercardioid XLR Boundary Conference Microphone is a professional low-profile condenser microphone designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, podiums, lecture spaces and permanent commercial AV installations.

The MX393/S-X features a supercardioid polar pattern, providing a tighter pickup area than a standard cardioid microphone. This helps focus on the intended speaker while reducing unwanted sound from the sides, making it especially useful for conference tables, lecterns and controlled speech-reinforcement applications.

This model features a programmable silent membrane switch with configurable Push to Talk, Push to Mute and Push On/Push Off operating modes. It also includes an LED status indicator and TTL-compatible logic connections for integration with compatible professional mixers, DSP systems and conference-room control equipment.

The MX393/S-X provides a 50 Hz to 17 kHz frequency response, approximately 180-ohm output impedance, and maximum sound pressure level of approximately 118 dB SPL. It operates from 11–52V DC phantom power and includes an approximately 3.5 m cable terminated with a balanced 3-pin male XLR connector.

Its low-profile black housing can be permanently mounted to conference tables, podiums or other flat surfaces, making the MX393/S-X ideal for corporate conference rooms, government facilities, classrooms, lecture halls, houses of worship and professional installed-sound systems.
